This brand began in 2019, in a small spare bedroom in Sydney. No investors. No roadmap. Just a vision — and a refusal to settle for what already existed.
Before Australia, my story started elsewhere. Born in Russia, raised in Japan, I spent my teenage years modeling — immersed in fashion, surrounded by creativity. That’s where I developed an eye for detail… and an obsession with how clothing can transform the way you feel.
But I didn’t just want to wear fashion.
I wanted to create something that didn’t exist yet.
When I moved to Australia, I found myself in a gym, looking around at the activewear market — and feeling completely uninspired.
Everything looked the same.
Safe. Repetitive. Forgettable.
But women aren’t.
We’re bold, powerful, feminine, ambitious — and what we wear should reflect that.
So I built what was missing.
Kate Galliano was created for women who refuse mediocrity.
