All prices and charges are displayed in your local currency at checkout. However, because our store’s base currency is AUD (Australian Dollars), you may occasionally see AUD listed on your order confirmation or Shopify-generated receipt.
Please rest assured that you were charged in your local currency (e.g., USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, etc.) — the amount you saw at checkout is the exact amount billed.
For reference, 1 AUD is approximately 0.65 USD (exchange rates vary daily). Your bank or card provider may also display the converted value in your home currency based on their current rate.
If you have any concerns or see AUD on your receipt, simply double-check your card statement — it will confirm the correct charge in your local currency.
We like to make shopping as easy as possible at KATE GALLIANO, which is why we offer a number of different payment options at the checkout. All payment options will confirm your order immediately.
1. Credit card – our secure Stripe enabled checkout processes Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit cards.
2. PayPal – use the funds in your PayPal account, or money from the back account linked to your PayPal account. PayPal can also process your credit card, even if you don’t have a PayPal account.
3. Afterpay (AU) – similar to a lay-buy payment system, except you receive your order straight away. Afterpay allows purchases up to $1000AUD to be settled in 4 interest-free instalments over 8 weeks. You must live in Australia, be over 18 years old and have a valid Visa or Mastercard issued in Australia to use Afterpay. Additional fees only incur in the event of late payment. 5. Laybuy (AU, NZ, UK) – Laybuy lets you receive your purchase straight away (like Afterpay) and spread the total cost over 6 weekly interest-free automated payments. When signing up to use Laybuy the online system will perform an instant credit check to determine your “Laybuy limit” – which is how much you can purchase using Laybuy, based on your credit history. 6. Sezzle (US) – Available to American customers, Sezzle allows you to pay for your order in four interest-free instalments over six weeks. You must be 18 years or older (19 years or older in Alabama or if you are a ward of the state in Nebraska) and have a valid US mobile number and email address.
